Dr Geraldine Brennan is the Senior Circular Economy Programme Manager at Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) an Enterprise Ireland and IDA Supported Technology Centre with responsibility for delivering IMR’s flagship Circular Economy initiative CIRCULÉIRE – the National Platform for Circular Manufacturing.

Geraldine holds a PhD in Strategic Management and MSc in Business & Environment from Imperial College London and is also a University College Dublin (UCD) 

Alumni with a BA (Honours) in Politics and Philosophy. She has lectured extensively on circular business models and scaling circular innovation, authored articles, innovation insights (see EIT Climate-KIC’s Circular Economy Insights (2017/2019)) and toolkits on circularity. 

In 2015, Geraldine was an awardee of the German Federal Ministry of Education (BMBF) International Green Talents Award, for outstanding interdisciplinary researchers in the field of sustainable development. In addition, Geraldine holds honorary visiting positions at Imperial College London,Middlesex University Business School and with the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP.ac.uk).
